The 3rd round of Mibosport Cup series took place last weekend in Hrotovice. The race had attracted more than 220 racers which promised a good racing in all classes!
Since the first practice my XB2 was really good and I did only few small changes on the car. Behind me, XB2s of junior XRAY duo of Daniel Kobbevik and Max Gotzl finished 2nd and 3rd!
4wd was a close affair between Daniel and me, but eventually it was my XB4 which topped timed practice.
In 2wd qualifications, it was again my XB2´18 which TQed all three rounds. In Q1 and Q2 it was again the same pair of Max and Daniel fighting for 2nd spot, but in Q3 Ales Bidovsky set faster time and lined up 2nd with Max and Daniel in 3rd and 4th!
In finals my XB2 got quickly away from the rest of the field and won both A1 and A2! In A3 Ales Bidovsky took the win and secured 2nd place, Max Gotzl completed the podium making it two XB2s

In 4wd class, I managed to TQ Q1 and Q2, but late mistake in Q3 meant that Daniel TQed final qualifier, however my time in Q2 was faster and so my HW powered XB4 lined up 1st in A-main! Daniel started 2nd and Ales Bidovsky managed to get 3rd place after another good Q3 run!
In finals Daniel and I fought closely for the win in A1 and eventually Daniel took it. A2 was promising another fight for the win, but one mistake decided and I managed to pull away and take the win. The pretty much same scenario was in A3 and my XB4 crossed the line on the first place!
